Minutes: Paula moved, seconded by Delores, to accept the minutes as sent out. All in favor.

Treasurer Report: Our ending June balance is $5,250.07. Brenna moved to accept the report as passed out, seconded by Gene. All in favor.

Old Business: JULY 4th—With Terry Baum, Kathryn, Gene, Vicki Hutchison and Brenna saying they would be able to work the major obstacle was overcome. Delores brought 2 mini electric cool/hot machines and a backpack that Marlene has donated. Paula moved, seconded by Delores, to raffle these items off at $1 per ticket or 6 for $5. All in favor. Only a phone # and name are necessary. Brenna offered her place as a drop site for the water and awning. Water will be sold at $1 and the flashers for $2. Gene will provide the seed money. Randy is working on the ice arrangements with his church. Delores mentioned that we were charged tax on the tattoos. She will request a new bill be sent.
AUDIT—Paula contacted Sheila Rogers with Rogers & Company. Gene moved, seconded by Brenna, to allot up to $500 for Rogers & Co. To do our audit. All in favor.
MIXER—Eleven were in attendance, 4 were new to the event. Marlene donated an item that was given as a door prize. The July mixer will be held on the 17th, a breakfast meeting. No sponsor at this time. If you are interested in sponsoring a mixer contact Randy Fry.
CHAMBER DIRECTORY—After some discussion it was decided that a committee of Randy, Brenna, Delores and Kathryn will meet before our August meeting. Items that need to be addressed: what information to include; who will be included; can non-member advertise; how to disperse it; how big it should be.

New Business: RIBBON CUTTINGS—Empire Bank will not be wanting one till around October. Pond Creek Design has said he does not want a ribbon cutting but will join. No other information at this time.
RECYCLE BIN—There were more questions than ideas. Delores will get some general information. There was some discussion as to whether the city or parks board might want to join in this. It appears to be more than the Chamber can afford alone, or any one entity. The park board meets on July 8. Delores will do what she can to get more detailed information from WCA. Items to take into consideration: where to locate it, how often would it need to be emptied, security,

Misc.: Delores received announcement that our annual registration with the Secretary of State is due by August 31. Randy will take care of this. Brenna mentioned that a Post Office is a reality for Battlefield. It will take 18-24 months to complete the process.

Adjourn: at 1:08pm
