Minutes of Meetings

Wednesday, October 7, 2009

 

Call to Order:  Meeting was called to order by President, Becky Wright at 12:02 p.m.

Board Members in attendance: Bryan Morris, Keri Robinson, and Vicki Hutcheson.

 

Approval of Minutes:  Minutes were read.  Keri made a motion to approve, Bryan seconded, motion passed.

Approval of Treasurer’s Report: August’s bank statement shows an beginning  balance of $9706.23, no deposits; disbursements for Arrowhead Orchard-$900.00 (Farmer’s Market director fees) and Sac River Trio-$200.00 (Farmer’s Market) and T-Mobile-$45. The ending balance for August:  $8,560.47.  Vicki made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report, Bryan seconded, motion passed.

 

Committee Reports

Membership:  Contacts were made by phone and email to encourage attendance at a member luncheon on October 14.

Technology:  Dan was not able to attend the meeting.

 

Old Business:

Farmer’s Market.  Farmer’s Market activity has slowed. 

 

New Business:

 

Member Luncheon:  Becky proposed to have a member luncheon at noon on October 14.   It will be in the community room, Rick Hess will update the members on community business activity, pizza and soft drinks we be provided.   Keri made a motion, Bryan seconded, motion passed to fund the luncheon. 

 

Becky also has checked into having a December member meeting at Wilson’s Creek Battlefield in conjunction with the memorial illumination on Saturday, December 12 from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m.  General discussion was held regarding plans for 2010.  Business expos, MoCHIPS, a program sponsored by the Masonic Lodge and a health fair were some of the ideas discussed. 

 

Adjournment:  Vicki made a motion to adjourn at 1:03, Keri seconded. Motion passed.
