Support Battlefield Police
The Battlefield Chamber of Commerce formally supports the proposed 1/2 cent sales tax increase to be used to better the Battlefield Police Department. This tax will be used to hire an additional officer and bring existing officer's pay in-line with other area departments to increase retention. Overall, this is the next step toward a 24-hour, full time police force.
To show your support, we will be making yard signs available to anyone interested in displaying them in their yard. They are expected to be available the first week of March and we will post contact information for the signs at that time.
